The Future of Jobs | Africa Focus is an interactive conference offering panels and workshops designed to explore Africa’s job market needs and projections. Participants will examine how the continent leverages innovation, technology, youth, and women capital to foster growth and create jobs.
Africa’s main resource is not oil or gas but its HUMAN CAPITAL, and more precisely its youth. There will be 1 billion young people in Africa by 2050. To transform the African youth’ potential into an asset versus a liability, a strong educational infrastructure is essential, from primary school to post-graduate training. This infrastructure must focus on appropriate skill sets, languages, and training for the young leaders and skilled workers to continue the forward momentum that is already building. The conference will harness the potential of African youth to both speed-up and secure this pace of progress.
